Your Second Visit to Our Tempe Practice

On your report visit we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you.

Your second visit starts with your "Report of Findings".  On this visit you will be educated as to what your health  problems really are, how they started, and what needs to be done to once and for all resolve them.  If you had x-rays taken on your last visit, you will be shown them at this time as part of the education process.

I will also then reveal if your problem is in need of treatment by myself or another health specialist.  Patients who understand what their health issues are become and stay motivated at pursuing their getting well and staying well. If I reveal to you a correctable treatment need, you can at that time hire us to begin your treatment plan.

You will then be escorted to a treatment room and your first day treatment will be given to you. After your pleasant treatment experience, you will be escorted back to the front desk to check out.

The typical time required for your second visit is about 30-45 minutes. I realize that these first two visits will take a fair amount of your time but they are are vital in creating a proper foundation for understanding and correction of your health problems.

Dr. Stephen Asks some important questions of interest to Tempe residents - Chiropractor Tempe Dr. Stephen Asks...

Will chiropractic adjustments make my spine too loose?
No. Only the spinal joints that are fixated and "locked up" receive attention. The occasional spinal joint that moves too much is passed over so weakened muscles and ligaments can strengthen and heal.
What causes vertebral subluxations?
Chiropractors acknowledge three types of stress: physical, chemical and emotional. When the adaptive capacity of your body is compromised, weakened areas along the spine can become involved. Muscles tighten, spinal joints lock up and nearby nerves are affected. The purpose of chiropractic care is to find these areas and restore balance, alignment and motion.
