Science Based Nutrition

The SCIENCE BASED NUTRITION PROGRAM uses diagnostic testing (blood, hair, urine, etc.) to reveal nutritional deficiencies or tendencies toward disease such as toxic element exposure (mercury, arsenic, aluminum, ect.).  Using this valuable testing program, we are now able to make recommendations for proper overall supplementation and dietary changes, as well as monitor our patient's progress.  I truly believe that the 15-20 page personal analysis we provide for you at the end of your testing is invaluable for your long term health.  Not only is this the most important tool for disease prevention, but it is also useful for those who wish to optimize the health of their bodies from the inside out to promote healing and repair.

Many problems can be identified in the blood, hair or urine long before you actually experience symptoms.  When read properly, certain tests will indicate if you are progressing towards the development of a serious illness, such as cancer, liver, heart, kidney, muscle or many other diseases. You may be wondering what separates our program from that of other nutritionists or simple vitamin recommendations for certain conditions.  It is our TESTING and RETESTING which allows us to monitor your progress and make necessary changes to your personal program according to how YOUR body responds to treatment. Early detection and correction are the key elements to living a HEALTHY LIFE!

Dr. Stephen Asks some important questions of interest to Tempe residents - Chiropractor Tempe Dr. Stephen Asks...

Will chiropractic adjustments make my spine too loose?
No. Only the spinal joints that are fixated and "locked up" receive attention. The occasional spinal joint that moves too much is passed over so weakened muscles and ligaments can strengthen and heal.
What causes vertebral subluxations?
Chiropractors acknowledge three types of stress: physical, chemical and emotional. When the adaptive capacity of your body is compromised, weakened areas along the spine can become involved. Muscles tighten, spinal joints lock up and nearby nerves are affected. The purpose of chiropractic care is to find these areas and restore balance, alignment and motion.
